The story is an adaptation of a famous Gujarati novel ‘Saraswatichandra’. According to the ace director, the story has been altered in order to suit the medium while keeping the basic value of the novel as it is. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films are known for their grandeur and larger-than-life directions, which we will be seeing on the small screen as well. A very special guest also braced the occasion, Rani Mukherjee. “He is a good friend and I will always be there for him. He is my favourite director. This is his debut on television and I am here to give him my best wishes.” Starring Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget in the lead, the show have larger-than-life sets just like Bhansali’s movies.
